SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Students can apply for the scholarships only at the time of admissions. To apply for a scholarship, a student must submit all required documentation for admissions and in addition complete the Financial Assistance Admission Form. The Financial Assistance Admission Form may be returned to the office of admissions when completed.

First Country Scholarship
The First Country Scholarship was created to promote cultural diversity at IGlobal University. The 50% scholarship is available to the first student from each country to study at IGlobal University - available only for the MBA program, not applicable to transfer students. Students that wish to apply for this scholarship program must do so at the time of admissions. The scholarship only covers tuition.

Life-Long Learning (L3) Scholarship
The L3 Scholarship program was created to assist students who add diversity, integrity, and value to IGlobal University’s current programs. The financial assistance committee will review the applicant’s background, and if qualified will award an appropriate scholarship. Students that wish to apply for this scholarship program must do so at the time of admissions. The scholarship only covers tuition.

Academic Merit Scholarship
Based on undergraduate or high school GPA: Award Amount, 3.0 GPA - 5% 3.3 GPA - 10%, 3.5 GPA - 15%, 3.7 GPA - 20%. Students must submit a written essay of approximately 500 words in length detailing their past, present, and future goals—and how these goals have, and will aid others in life-long-learning.

Kim Sohn Scholarship
The Kim Sohn Scholarship was create to assist students with disabilities or undergoing economic hardship, orphans, or refugees. Students that wish to apply for this scholarship must do so at the time of admission and provide supporting evidence of financial need. The financial assistance committee will then review the applicant’s background and need to see if he or she qualifies for the scholarship. 3-5 Kim Sohn Scholarships are awarded each year.
SCHOLARSHIP POLICES AND PROCEDURES
The University offers scholarships to its qualified students. The University established the terms and conditions for awarding scholarships as well as scholarship application procedures in compliance with the federal, state, and local government laws and regulations and the ACICS accreditation criteria.
Value:
The amount of awarded scholarship will not exceed 100% of the tuition per quarter and per awarded student.
Award Qualifications and Criteria:
1. Applicants must meet the University’s admission requirements for the program of study chosen as outlined in the University Catalog.
2. Applicants must submit a complete scholarship application form to the academic office within two weeks of the application for admission or the start of a new term.
3. Applicants must demonstrate an exemplary role for leadership or voluntary community service.
4. Applicants currently enrolled in the MBA program must have CGPA of 3.50 or above.
5. New applicants must have CGPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00 for the student’s bachelor’s degree.
General Guidelines:
1. Scholarships will be awarded based on the results of the University’s review of the applicants’ qualifications. The applicants will be notified of the results of their applications after all the required materials have been received and reviewed.
2. Scholarship recipients are responsible to adhere to policies and procedures as outlined herein, including any change of the recipients’ academic or administrative standings.
3. Scholarships are funded by the contribution from the University President and the funds are included in the institution’s budget.
4. The total amount of scholarship funds allocated will be announced prior to the beginning of each academic year. The total amount of available scholarships for 2013 is $50,000.
5. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of qualified students’ needs as determined fairly and consistently to all applicants by the University’s Scholarship Committee consisting of at least one member from the University’s administration and academic departments.
6. Scholarship students must maintain CGPA of 3.50 or above at all times.
7. Reported misbehavior, negative feedback from your instructors, and any violation of the student code of conduct (either academic or non-academic) will jeopardize your scholarship.
8. Academic dishonesty will result in immediate termination of the scholarship award as well as jeopardize the students’ academic status.
Application and Award Procedures:
1. At least two weeks prior to the starting term, students must submit the completed scholarship application form to the academic office.
2. The University notifies the applicants of the application result within the four weeks from the submission.
3. Scholarships are applied directly to the students’ financial account and no check will be issued to student.
4. Qualified students must submit their University’s grade report or unofficial transcript along with the original application.
