GRADUATE ADMISSION (MBA)

GRADUATE ADMISSION TO MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAM



All applicants must submit to the Admissions Office the following documents and adhere to the following procedures:

 

1. Completed Admission Application Form (Link below) or download the PDF form here.


2. Copy of Resume detailing education and work experience


3. Two letters of recommendations (employer, professor, or teacher)

 

4. Photo ID for Domestic students (drivers license, government ID, etc.)


5. Official Transcripts showing the completion of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent for a Master’s degree program.



A maximum of 27 credit hours (50% of the total credit hours required for a Master’s degree) may be granted as transfer credits toward only coursework based on course-by-course contents evaluation of prior qualified graduate education at accredited educational institutions. The applicant’s prior college academic records must show a minimal Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of B (3.0 on a scale of 4.0) or higher.



6. Statement of Purpose or Personal Essay (A brief statement of the applicant’s purpose of study)


7. An Application Fee of $80.00 (This non-refundable fee must be paid within 5 working days after the submission of application)



 

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

 

In addition to the above documents, the following is required for international students:



8. Copy of student’s passport (inside cover and signature page)


9. Original or certified bank account statement(s) or letter issued within 3 months of the time of application and reflecting a minimum balance equivalent to $23,640.00. (must be sent by mail)



Or, If the bank account statement is not in the student’s name, a certified or notarized Affidavit of Financial Support form reflecting a minimum balance equivalent to $23,640.00 must be completed by the sponsor within 3 months of the time of the application. (must be sent by mail)



10. For transfer students, Copy of the I-94 and any previous I-20 forms are required at the time of application.


11. Evidence of English Proficiency

 

This may include a minimum,
- TOEFL score of 550 (PBT), 205 (CBT), 60 (IBT) Or,
- IELTS Score of 5.5 Or,

- iTEP Score of 4.0 Or,
- WAEC score of C6 or higher Or,
- IGlobal University English Placement Test score of 80

 

If no proof of English proficiency is submitted, the student will be required to take the iTEP upon arrival at the university.  There is a $50 non-refundable fee for this service.

 

12. I-20 International Express Mailing Fee of $50 (this fee is non-refundable) - required for I-20s mailed outside of the USA.

 

13. Degree Evaluation: Degrees received in a country other than the United States must be evaluated and submitted directly to the University by a NACES or AICE member. We recommend using either IERF.

 

The students who have earned or will earn 3-year bachelor's degrees in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Nepal, Australia, South Africa and any participant in the Bologna Process, may not have to be evaluated. However, the Admissions Committee will determine a waiver of credential evaluation on a case-by-case basis.

 

14. VISA Copy (F1-VISA holders must present their VISA upon arrival in the US or upon transferring into the university)

 

15. Non-refundable Tuition Deposit of $1000 is required of all transfer students before being issued a Form I-20 or processing a transfer out request for all initial international students after VISA approval.
